The first Passion Play was held in Oberammergau in 1634, in fulfillment of a vow to perform the "drama of the sufferings and death of the Lord" every ten years, if the pestilence that ravaged the village would ease. Now, more that 375 years since the first performance was made, the vow continues to be fulfilled. YOU can join people from all corners of the world as they converge on the little town in Southern Bavaria to witness the spectacular drama of the Passion of the Lord. Choose one of the following itineraries and experience a treasury of memories.
